What made you want to coach sports?
After playing to international level I always wanted to give back to a sport that has given me so much. I aim to give individuals the chance to develop themselves and give them the best opportunities possible to potentially play on the international stage.
What are your goals as a sports coach?
I want my teams to be more detached from the wins and losses and be more focused on doing the little things well. When you focus on getting the win, it can suffocate you, especially during tournaments when the pressure is on.
What are your highlights as a sports coach?
Winning Division 3 at the National Lacrosse Championships will always be a career highlight as a coach. During my time here at Rendcomb I have also won the Small Schools Lacrosse Trophy 3 times and look forward to challenging for it again!
Who is your favourite sports personality and why?
My niece is my favourite sports personality as she is determined to be a famous female footballer one day. She shows incredible heart and determination whenever she plays and shows great passion for the sport. Watching her follow her dream of playing for Wales and Watford and the training she is putting in is inspiring at any level.
At a professional level Gareth Bale has to be at the top of the list. What a player and of course…he’s welsh!
