Rendcomb Staff support NHS during Covid-19 pandemic

As we prepare to go out and #ClapForTheNHS tonight at 8pm, here is some news of what some of the Rendcomb Staff have been up to during the current coronavirus pandemic.

Jill Church, one of the Sisters at Rendcomb College has been working for the NHS. Jill has been working both day and night shifts for the Out of Hours Service, Hospital at Home and Wantage District Nurses. Her role consists of visiting patients in the community setting throughout Oxfordshire to provide nursing and Palliative Care. We thank Jill for all her hard and caring work she is doing at these difficult times.

Caroline Collett another Sister from Rendcomb College and her partner, Matt Walton, Director of Sport at the College have both been busy volunteering after applying to be volunteers via the NHS App. They have been getting shopping and delivery prescriptions to those who are self-isolating or having to shield themselves. Caroline is also offering telephone support and she and Matt have been making some meals for Caroline’s colleagues at the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham. Thank you Caroline and Matt for all you are doing to support the NHS.
