Junior School earns clean sweep of distinctions

Rendcomb College Junior School pupils have all been awarded distinctions in their recent London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations.

A total of 15 pupils took the examinations in Solo Introduction and in Speaking Verse and Prose.

Three pupils achieved Solo Introduction Grade 2 with six pupils achieving Grade 3. Years 5 and 6 took examinations in Speaking Verse and Prose with three achieving Grade 1 and three achieving Grade 2. All the pupils achieved a distinction in their given examination.

LAMDA are a higher education provider and awarding organisation, awarding world-renown qualifications in communication and performance through exams in drama, literature and poetry.

LAMDA qualifications are highly regarded with alumni including Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Katherine Parkinson (IT Crowd) and David Suchet (Poirot).
