Qualifications: BA (Hons); PGCE; Advanced Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulty

Mrs Bevans has been at Rendcomb College for over 10 years as both a house parent and learning support and English teacher. Before coming to Rendcomb Mr and Mrs Bevans were houseparent’s at a school in Staffordshire.

Mrs Bevans is a keen photographer and artist and loves to explore Rendcomb’s landscape for that perfect picture or inspiration for her next work of art.

“The boys are fantastic. They create such a lovely environment and are incredibly welcoming to everybody that visits Rendcomb.”

Mrs Bevans aim as a houseparent is to create home-away-from-home for the boys and make them as comfortable as possible, making lawn house an escape from the educational environment.

Mrs Bevans’ favourite activity is the Pool competition the boys hold on a weekly basis. “They practice hard in preparation. It can be serious business!”
