Godman House

Godman house became the home to all pupils in Year 7-9 from September 2019 following an extension and refurbishment. The house has separate boys' and girl's wings with communal spaces at the centre of the house for all to thrive.

Godman House is the day and boarding house for 11-14 year old (Year 7, 8 and 9) boys and girls. The House is a vibrant, happy and busy place where open communication thrives. The Boarding team works alongside the main school to develop a thriving structure where all our Day and Boarding pupils develop skills such as independent learning, a genuine confidence and independence to develop a healthy moral compass.

At the end of the school day, letting off steam and quality downtime is important. Evening activities range from baking in the house kitchen, Clay Pigeon Shooting at the College's sports ground, craft nights and regular events which take place in the large common room. Weekends are great fun too; from whole school discos and Sunday outings, to cultural trips to Gloucester or Bristol, to bowling, going to the cinema and paintballing.

Pupils can make use of the House's garden and love showing the Junior School girls and boys around the House when they host their 'Big Sister' and 'Big Brother' events.
