Qualifications:  Bsc (Hons) (Open); BSA Certificate of Professional practice in Boarding Staff; Level 3 SLQ Tutor; Level 2 coach in Rugby, Hockey and Cricket.

Mr Thomason has been a sports coach and boarding parent at Rendcomb College for 9 years, following on from gaining his A-levels as a pupil here. Mr Thomason has also been a Developing Player Pathway (DPP) coach at Gloucester Rugby Club.

In his spare time Mr Thomason is a keen cook while also playing a variety of sports.

After being a being a boarder at Rendcomb College himself, he loves the atmosphere created in the house by the students and sees it as the defining factor in what makes Lawn House special.

Being a Sports coach, his favourite boarding activities are the competitions held in the sports hall and the Pool and FIFA tournaments on the Play Station that often occur in the games room.

“My aim is to create a fair environment for pupils to develop and be comfortable in on a daily basis.”

FUN FACT: Mr Thomason has travelled to Uganda and set up a women’s cricket team over there!
