Spiritual Life
Regular assemblies, Chapel services, inspirational talks and a diverse trips programme provide pupils with a comprehensive and wide-ranging understanding of morality and the world around them.
In the Junior School, pupils attend daily assemblies which promote their well-being, self-esteem and holistic development. On Fridays, special distinction assemblies are held to celebrate individual, group and whole school achievements to which all parents are welcomed.
Senior Boarding School pupils attend an assembly with a moral, spiritual or social focus. Staff and pupils play an important role in these assemblies with pupil achievements also celebrated each week.
Chapel plays an important part in the life of the School and takes place in the Grade II listed St Peter’s Church, which stands at the heart of our campus. Services are conducted by the School Chaplain and Rendcomb College Alumnus, Reverend Bob Edy.
For Boarders, a monthly Sunday service provides an important focus and students often celebrate festivals such as Harvest, Remembrance Sunday, Advent and Mothering Sunday to which family members are invited.
A highlight of the year is the Carol Service which is held at Cirencester Parish Church with the whole school in attendance.
