Flexi and Occasional Boarding

We don’t believe in strict rules segregating day students from full boarding at Rendcomb College. Our ethos is about being one community, a family formed by individuals looking to learn, grow, build bonds and share their lives. We’re proud to provide both flexible and occasional boarding options at times when a return home can be challenging, or you’re looking for the best of both.

Occasional Boarding offers an ad hoc overnight stay for day pupils on just a few nights per term. This option allows families to book last-minute stays at school, providing greater flexibility.

Our Flexi Boarding packages provide a hybrid option, families can pre-select specific nights each week to board across an entire term. This must be booked in advance at the start of each term, and we’ll try our best to allocate the same bed space - but personal items can not be left. In this instance, Flexi boarders take priority over occasional boarders. We’re pleased to have an open policy where both day pupils and boarders share the same houses to enable strong friendships and camaraderie for all to flourish throughout the college.

Rendcomb College Campus

A Naturally Inspiring Setting

All of our boarding houses have stunning views over the 230 acres of Cotswold countryside that Rendcomb College is situated within. Whether it be our forest, sports fields, deer park or ancient orchard, boarders have an inspiring setting to live, learn and grow up.

With such vast grounds to explore, houseparents regularly organise activities such as laser tag, orienteering, a night-time walk or campfire and sports during the evenings and weekends. Pupils can also ask to use the sports facilities such as the gym or tennis courts in their down time.
