How to Apply
We have multiple entry points for children applying to join Rendcomb College.
Our Nursery welcomes children from the term they turn 3 years old and the Junior School welcomes applications throughout the year for all year groups; from Reception through to Year 6.
Our Senior School has three main entry points; at Year 7, Year 9 and Lower Sixth/Year 12. Entry into other year groups is also possible dependent on availability. We also understand that family circumstances and work commitments do not always fit into the school year and therefore we welcome applications for the Senior School throughout the year.

Registration
Registration adds your child onto our entry lists and can take place at any time throughout the year. In order to register your child, the Registration form should be completed and returned to the Admissions Office together with the non-refundable Registration Fee of £100. Please note that registration does not necessarily guarantee a place.
junior school: TASTER DAY
Here at Rendcomb College Junior School prospective pupils are asked to take part in a Taster Day ahead of an offer of a place. Your child shall be teamed up with a ‘buddy’ who has similar interests to your child and will attend lessons and activities during a typical school day. Taster Days are designed to give your son or daughter the chance to understand and engage with school life here and to encourage a smooth transition when moving schools.
The Taster Day experience is as much for your child as it is us here at Rendcomb; it is the chance to assess whether we are a suitable fit for your child and will be able to offer a happy school life and all the support they need. In our Junior School we are flexible and can therefore offer an appropriate day from our timetable to suit your child’s interests and strengths to ensure a positive and fun experience. Following a successful Taster Day an offer of a place will be made.
Offer of a place and Acceptance
For successful applicants the Acceptance Form is sent alongside an offer of a place for your child (both conditional and un-conditional) from the Head of College or Head of Juniors. The Acceptance Form is signed by both parents and returned to the Admissions Office with the Acceptance Fee (£250 for Junior School pupils, £500 for Senior School UK pupils, £3,500 for EU pupils and £11,000 for international pupils). The form will be provided with a copy of our Parental Contract containing our terms and conditions.
The Acceptance Fee acts as a deposit and is refunded at the time the pupil leaves Rendcomb College (minus any sums due). Once paid, the fee will be forfeited if the pupil does not enter the school. During the Acceptance period, if not beforehand, the Admissions Team will request a reference from your child’s current school (where applicable).
Once a place has been accepted and a start date confirmed, the Admissions Team will provide your family with joining instructions containing information about our uniform, along with other key information and essential forms.
Senior school: Shadow Day
Once a child has been offered a place at Rendcomb College Senior School, we offer the opportunity for them to join us for a Shadow Day at the parents' request. Shadow Days provide children with the opportunity to become more accustomed to life at Rendcomb College Senior School should this be required. The Shadow Day is not mandatory.
